Chris is a REALTOR who has served the Centre Region's Real Estate Market for over 25 years. Chris' job is to get to know the wants and needs of our clients and keep up with market inventory. He will make marketing calls for your property everyday, looking for qualified buyers. In addition to listing properties and looking for qualified buyers, Chris handles all contract negotiations. Chris completes an average of 1 home sale every three days. His certifications include, among others, Accredited Buyers Representative, Certified Residential Specialist, Accredited Sellers Representative, Senior Real Estate Specialist and is a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute. Chris also has been the Centre County Association of REALTORS "REALTOR of the Year." Chris is a Penn State graduate and taught special needs children for ten years prior to his career move into real estate. Chris is committed to our community through involvement with the Special Olympics, The United Way, Make a Wish Foundation, the Centre County Food Bank and 15 years with the State College Rotary Club.

What is "H.O."? You can probably guess--it means "home odors".
Be careful of odors in your home. If your family room smells stuffy and stale, or if your cat or dog has left a distinctive odor in the hallway, take action by eliminating the source of the odor rather than merely treating the effects. Smells have a powerful effect on the way people react to a house, and no amount of room freshener or vanilla on the light bulbs can mask a serious odor problem. In fact, such remedies may draw attention to the problem. We have seen homes with an odor problem languish unsold on the market for months or sell for significantly less than comparable homes in the neighborhood.
If you think that you may have a problem, talk candidly with your real estate agent. Your agent should be able to offer some constructive suggestions, and perhaps refer you to a professional who can help banish H.O. from your home!
